Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Fads-50/OOtz high capacity hopper car. Used in unit trains to transport ore between Emden and Rheine. Late Era III.
 
Model: The saddle, frame, and end platforms for the cars are made of metal. The cars have different lettering and car numbers. The load inserts have a layer of real scale sized iron ore. The cars are weathered. Length over the buffers for each car 13.3 cm / 5-1/4", coupled together 159.60 cm / 62-13/16". Each car comes individually packaged and marked.
